Glass Flood Walls
Permanent flood protection that keeps the waterfront in view.
A fixed glass flood wall for riverside paths, waterfront parks and embankments where a solid wall would block the view. Laminated glass panels sit within aluminium frames and posts, with rubber seals at the panel edges. The wall stays in position, so there are no panels to put in before a flood. Each system is configured for the site and quoted per project.

Before you order
How does a glass flood wall work?
The glass panels form a permanent barrier along the water's edge. Aluminium frames and posts support the panels, and rubber seals sit at the glass and frame interfaces. The posts transfer loads to the supporting concrete base or parapet. The wall stays in place between floods, keeping the view open without a panel deployment step.
Where does it suit a project?
Riverside paths, waterfront parks and embankments where the barrier needs to remain in place and the view matters. A glass wall can continue the barrier line above a concrete parapet while allowing people to see the water beyond it.
What sizes are available?
The wall height, panel span and glass build-up are selected together for the site. Send us the proposed wall line, required protection height and any drawings or photos of the supporting structure so we can discuss a suitable configuration.
Can it be fitted to an existing wall?
A concrete parapet can support a glass flood wall where its structure and foundations suit the proposed loads. The existing wall and anchor arrangement need to be assessed as part of the project design.
How do I get a quote?
Contact Flood Control with your project location and an outline of the wall you need. Drawings, photos, the approximate wall length and the required protection height help us prepare a project quote.
